Growing up in TriBeCa, Anna was always enamored with the countless dogs that lived in her thirty-nine story building. By the time she was thirteen she had begun walking a few dogs in the building, those of neighbors she met in the elevator. Dogs were really the closest thing this animal-obsessed city kid had to wildlife, and by high school she had scraped together a little cash-only enterprise, one which she sustained throughout breaks during college. After a brief and unpleasant stint working for a larger and more-established company, Anna has finally set out on her own, founding Pigeon Pals LLC, one of TriBeCa’s premier dog walking agencies, in 2018. 

Anna is also a voracious reader of anything dog-related, from dog behavioralism to dog’s evolutionary history through domestication, the pet food industry and the sociological relationship between dog and human. She has honed her skills in Lower Manhattan’s dog parks, in pack walks, volunteering at shelters, and fostering behavior cases, as well as a canine emotion and dog cognition certification course with Brian Hare. Gradually, she took on training clients. With now more than six years of experience, Anna has distinguished herself among dog trainers with her ground-level approach, focusing on the needs of an individual dog as it adapts to the human world around it.
