When we got her back we realized that we really needed to find a professional to help her. “Lenny has demonstrated an aggression toward men in my space since I first got him a few months ago. This became apparent when my friend Eli came over and he completely freaked out. He barked incessantly and tried to bite Eli multiple times.Even when he calmed down momentarily, he would again start barking if Eli flinched. We were all traumatized. Enter Anna, who via video (!) started to walk me through how to handle situations with men in the apartment. In real time, she was present on video when a dude would come over. She taught me how to manage all parties involved, including how to instruct my friends and how to navigate Lenny through the situation. With only two (!!!!!) training sessions, Lenny went from totally inconsolable to barking just a few times before comfortably hanging out around Eli. I thought I would never be able to have a dude in my apartment without ton of stress but thanks to Anna, it now feels totally manageable !!!!!!! Yay Anna and yay Lenny :) and yay Eli !!!!”

Now that I’m grooming I’ve been trying to learn more about different training methods because grooming can be very stressful for some dogs… I’ve learned so much from following her instagram. She also does lots of work with local shelters and is so good at explaining the ethics (or lack thereof) of commercial/backyard breeding to someone less knowledgeable, but also being honest about the reality of it. “I honestly cannot put into words how much Anna and her team have helped Luna grow. When Luna was a puppy she had a lot of challenges with behaving at home and at the dog park. Her team was loving and patient yet stern with Luna, which was what she needed. They also helped me learn how to better set boundaries at home, so that Luna could more easily behave and relax at home. Training can seem daunting and like you will have to consume huge amounts of time towards it, and make drastic changes to your life. But Anna’s team showed me that actually very small and easy to implement changes in your day to day life can make a huge difference. “We moved from a quiet, residential neighborhood uptown to a bustling downtown street with our suburban-raised pup, Riggs. Within just three months, he regressed significantly. From becoming reactive on the leash to starting little bark fests in the elevators and lobby with other dogs, he struggled with the overwhelming sounds outside and was especially reactive to cigarette smoke in the streets. We felt like we were failing him whenever we walked him, as it was clear that he was as miserable as we were. Enter Anna, who is like the Cesar Millan of NYC. After just one training session, she transformed our reactive dog and actually helped him enjoy walking again. She showed us how to make our walks with Riggs pleasant for both of us. What started with me considering sending Riggs to an expensive boarding camp turned into us working with Anna on a 5-day train-and-stay program. When we returned, Riggs was a completely different dog. His barking triggers had been eliminated, he was walking calmly, socializing better with other dogs, and we, as dog parents, had the tools to support him in his new behavior. Anna is reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Her love for training makes her exceptional at her craft. I only wish I wasn’t moving because Anna would have been a permanent part of our lives. She treats our pups as her own, and there’s no one else I would trust more with our dogs.
